“Just want to express a note of appreciation and thank you for the Day Program that my husband
attends. He has Alzheimer’s and has been in the program a couple of years now and he absolutely loves
it.

This program has given him mental challenges and stimulation that he would not receive sitting at
home. I notice a difference in his persona when he arrives home from a day. I always ask how his day
was and it is always the same answer – “it was nice, they are very nice there”. It also is a benefit to me,
as I love the time to myself to do the activities that I like that I would find harder to do if he was home.
But the most important thing for me is seeing him happy and looking forward to going out for the day.
He was an international businessman meeting people around the world which was always a love of his
and now in his mind he is still meeting people.

Adult Day Program:

Mom was a victim of a serious vehicle accident resulting in her choice to move in to our family home over 6 years ago.
