Thank you to all of our donors for their incredible support!
Monthly Giving
There is no doubt that your annual support is helping us to ensure that the needs of our Residents are met.
But now there’s a way that you can spread your donation out over the course of the year and help provide a reliable source of funding every month.
Through our pre-authorized giving program, you can pledge your support on a monthly basis and help us in the following ways:
- Help us plan more effectively because it gives us an ongoing source of dependable income;
- Easy, monthly deductions with less administrative costs attached;
- One convenient annual receipt, which means less waste, and simplifies your record keeping;
- A guaranteed, monthly revenue to help us fund important programs; and,
- A simple, yearly reminder that helps us reduce our costs with unnecessary mailings.
A donation of:
$10.00/month (approx. 33 cents/day);
$15.00/month (approx. 50 cents/day);
$20.00/month or $30.00/month.
will cost you less than $1.00 a day when averaged out over the year, but will be of significant help to the Foundation and thus to the Manor!
Planned Giving
Planned giving is the art of planning your charitable gifts to provide maximum benefits for yourself, your family and the charitable organization of your choice. The Maxville Manor Foundation is set up to assist you in your planning. Whatever form of giving you choose, it will make a significant contribution that will benefit many people for many years to come.
The Foundation will assist in advising you on five primary methods of planned giving:
- In Memoriam
- Bequests/Wills
- Remainder Trusts
- Life Insurance
- Annuities
- In Memoriam
Donations may be made to the Maxville Manor Foundationl in memory of your loved one. Your wish that the Foundation be the primary benefactor should be clearly requested. The appreciation may be directed to a specific program of Maxville Manor.
Bequests/Will A bequest is an important planning consideration for tax purposes. It is the most common form of a deferred or future gift. Through a charitable bequest to the Maxville Manor Foundation, you can donate your estate or a residual interest of the estate. Your lawyer will assist you with this important planning. There is a considerable tax advantage for you and your estate by planning your lasting testimony and recognized generosity. - Life Insurance
Gifts of life insurance are within the means of most people and are often chosen because a relatively small, tax-deductible premium can provide a substantial gift to us. Also by donating a fully paid policy that has a cash surrender value, you may be entitled to a substantial tax refund now.
If you’d like more information about how to take full advantage of gifts of Life Insurance, contact your insurance agent, accountant or financial advisor on how you can provide a substantial gift to the Maxville Manor Foundation for a relatively small premium payment.
- Remainder trusts
With a charitable remainder trust, the donor transfers property to a trust where it’s held and managed by a trustee. Trusts can be funded with cash or with highly appreciated property such as real estate, stocks or bonds. If the property is income producing the net income will be paid to the donor, or any other designated beneficiary. When the trust terminates – usually at death or a specified term – the remainder is distributed to the organization. - Annuities
A charitable gift annuity can benefit you and the Foundation. Typically, annuities are three-party agreements between you and the charity and a financial institution. The agreement may for example, provide you and your family with a fixed income for a specific period or for your lifetime while still ultimately benefiting our organization.
